Of course you will see both Boys Gone Wild and Girls Gone Wild flocking to see their iconic fitness role model, Madonna, on her MDNA World Tour. So here are 5 ways to spot the fitness freaks among the “regular” fans.
1. He/she purchases the official MDNA sweat bands, (head and wrist) before the show to wear that night and every day there after to the gym (real gym or hot yoga).
2. He/she carries a little black leather studded purse containing snack packs of raw almonds, natural cashews, or a mix of the above with organic dried cranberries or apricots mixed in to refuel during the show.
3. He/she organizes and enters a Madonna look-alike contest judged exclusively on best-looking veiny forearms.
4. He/she makes use of the downtime after the opening act of DJ Martin Solveig to “squat low and hold” in the stands while waiting for Madonna.
5. He/she rushes the stage to do pushups at the feet of the Queen of Pop (& fitness).
The good news is that while fitness freaks are often energetic to the point of being annoying, they are rarely lazy. He/she is likely to offer to fetch everyone’s drinks in their own group or even the entire row all night just for the fun of doing the stadium stairs an extra 20 or 30 times!
It was inspiring to see the ultimate role model for fit & STRONG in action when she came to Amsterdam, so enjoy the show when she comes to your city! Squat low and give a nod to the fellow fitness freaks you meet on the stairs or at the bar on a drinks run!
For the record, I didn’t buy the sweat bands or the Girl Gone Wild tank top for the gym, but I’ll proudly put my veiny forearms up against the other Madonna wannabes any day!
Here’s a sneak peek of the most revealing moments from the Amsterdam show…
Thanks for a great night out ladies & for taking the stairs;-)
